Have data? Thomas s tough fight back: I don t think I m that powerful, why do you need a double-team?

Cam Thomas is negotiating with the Nets on his next contract, but the negotiations are currently no progress. Famous reporter Jake Fischer said that the two sides have not yet held "substantive" talks, and team reporter Brian Lewis quoted a league official as saying that the team was "not in a hurry" in free agent negotiations.

So, when reporter Zach Lowe talked about Thomas' status quo on the show, the Nets' shooting guard paid attention. Zach Lowe said in The Dunker Spot podcast: "The general view about Cam Thomas is that he has some supporters and many strong opponents. He is a bit like a 'battleball player with data'."

In response, Cam Thomas responded strongly on social media: "General view? Go to your general view. This is probably the same as the views of teams that can't defend me and have double-teamed me since the start of jumping. Since I think I am a person "Not that awesome", so why do you still have to double-team him? Please give me a reasonable explanation."

"There are data? First of all, before I was injured and traded with the team, we were the fifth or sixth team in the East. How the general manager wants to mess with the team, I can't control it. Secondly, I'm the ball boss? I ranked second in the team in the number of assists, which is not counting those point guards who have been traded and newly exchanged!"

Last season, Thomas averaged 31.4 minutes per game and 3.8 assists per game.
