According to news on October 18, reports from the US media stated that well-informed sources revealed that the Bulls signed three-time slam dunk contest champion Mark McClung. But just 3 hours later, the Bulls waived McClung.

Famous reporter Michael Scotto received a tip that McClung and the Bulls had reached a signing agreement. Sources pointed out that this is only a non-guaranteed training camp contract.

In July this year, the Magic announced the revocation of McClung's qualifying offer, making him a completely free agent. McClung has outstanding personal abilities. He has won the Development League Most Valuable Player (MVP) and is a three-time slam dunk contest champion.

But the cruel reality is before McClung, that is, 3 hours after he and the Bulls reached a signing agreement, the Bulls decided to lay off him!

The 26-year-old McClung only played 2 regular season games for the Magic in the 24-25 season, did not score, and averaged only 0.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. In the Development League last season, McClung averaged 25.7 points, 3.9 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game.

On the other hand, the Bulls announced the layoff of Japanese player Yuki Kawamura, who had a two-way contract. According to sources, the Bulls' public relations department confirmed that the team waived Yuki Kawamura for health reasons. Yuki Kawamura missed the Bulls' last preseason game due to soreness in his right calf.

Famous reporter Shams followed up with a report that the Bulls signed a two-way contract with forward Trentin Flowers.
