Italian brain drain!

In the European U19 Championship qualifiers in November, Louis performed eye-catching, scoring two hat tricks in just three games. In the first game, he scored three goals to help the Czech U19 team beat the Azerbaijan U19 team 6-1.

Next, although he only came on as a substitute in the 2-2 draw with the Malta U19 team, Luis still impressed people with his excellent skills. In the game against Northern Ireland U19, Buffon's son returned to the starting lineup and broke out again, contributing another hat trick for the Czech U19 team, and finally won 4-0.

What makes fans pay more attention is the process of Louis' independent development. Rather than follow in his father's footsteps and become a goalkeeper, he chose to become a forward and is currently a member of Serie A club Pisa. The young talent received training from the Sisport and Juventus youth camps until he switched to Pisa in 2023 and made his professional debut in 2025.

As for why Luis chose to play for the Czech Republic instead of choosing Italy like his father, he explained in an interview with the Czech Football Association that it was because he wanted to play for his mother (former model Alena Seredova)’s country, and this decision was unanimously supported by the whole family.

With his dazzling performance and two hat tricks in this training camp, Louis has received great expectations and has become a new star worthy of attention in the future.
