British media: Many media people believe that Forest should not sign Henderson, and his return to Sunderland is the best choice

June 25th According to talkSPORT, Nottingham Forest is considering signing Henderson, and many media people believe Nottingham Forest should not sign him.

Recent reports suggest Nottingham Forest is considering signing Henderson to prepare for the Europa League this season. This will be the first time Forest has participated in the European war since the 1995/96 season. But someone told Forest coach Nuno Espirito Santo not to pursue Henderson.

talkSPORT learned that Sunderland, who has been promoted to the Premier League this season, is also seeking to sign Henderson back. 14 years ago, he transferred from Sunderland to Liverpool for £20 million.

It is reported that Henderson is open to joining Sunderland. Henderson even watched Sunderland beat Sheffield United in the final of the Championship Upgrade Playoffs.

talkSPORT hosts Allen Brazil and Gabi Abanglaho believe that the 35-year-old's peak period is over and they would rather see his next end to Sunderland.

In the show "Sports Breakfast Show", Scottish striker Alan Brazier, who has played for Icetown and Tottenham, expressed opposition to the potential transfer, saying: "I don't want to criticize Henderson. Because when Henderson first went to Liverpool, I think people were not sure when Kenny (Daglish) signed him, but he proved them wrong."

"But he is 35 now, I think Forest... can't do it. It's not suitable for me. He has had a brilliant career, but it's not possible now."

Abonraho also holds the same view, and he hopes to see the 2019 Champions League champion return to Sunderland.

Speaking of the possibility of transfer forest, he said: "I don't think it's OK. I'm not sure if the Premier League is still suitable for him now. I understand Sunderland's decision. He is Sunderland, I understand. But beyond that, I don't think he can meet the requirements of (Premier League)."

Brazier then interjected: "For him, Sunderland will be the ideal choice. Play for Sunderland in the Premier League and enjoy it. I'm not saying this is his last season because he loves football, but he may transform into a coach, right? I think Sunderland is the perfect transfer for him."

Meanwhile, former Arsenal striker and former Sunderland president Neil Quinn called on the club to bring Henderson back.

He told talkSPORT last month: "Well, Liverpool paid us £20m from the day Henderson left, and I knew there was a door that was always open for him and he could come back at any time. Obviously, I can only comment on this and can't make any decisions. But isn't that special?"

"I think he's adding luster to the sport, his efforts and teamwork are admirable. He's a real leader. He went to Liverpool and the first year was really tough, and a year later Henderson turned everything around and he had a huge impact. Seeing him lifting that Champions League trophy, I want to make everyone in Sunderland very proud."

Ajax captain Henderson is 35 years old and has only the last 12 months left in his contract with the team. This season, he played 45 games for Ajax in various competitions, scored 1 goal and 6 assists, and currently the turnover price of Qide is 2.5 million euros.
