BBC: Everton signs Villarreal striker Tirno Bari
July 8 According to the British media BBC, Everton signed Villarreal striker Tirno Bari nearly 27 million pounds.
Tirno Barry is expected to fly to Merseyside for a medical examination and then complete a £27 million deal. The formal procedures have not been completed yet, but the transfer is progressing smoothly, and coach Moyes is preparing to finalize Everton's biggest deal so far this summer.
Barri has a 34.5 million termination clause in Villarreal's contract, but Everton is expected to pay him a lower fee. Last season, Barrie scored 11 goals and contributed 4 assists in 38 games, helping Villarreal to finish fifth in La Liga and advance to the Champions League.
Barry will strengthen Everton's forward line after Lewin's contract expires. Forward Broa also left the team after the loan period ended and returned to Chelsea, but Everton did not buy it out.
Barry was born in Lyon and left the French club Socho at the age of 19 to play for Beverend team B. In the following season, Barry transferred to the Swiss team Basel and then joined Villarreal for about 13 million pounds in August 2024.
