September 21st News Recently, Grizzlies' No. 11 rookie Sidrick Coward was interviewed and talked about the recovery situation.

Koward missed the Summer League due to partially torn rotator cuff. Speaking of whether to prepare for training camp, Koward said: "I feel good. The training we are doing now, and I feel in excellent condition."

"This is simply the best thing. I have not played a formal confrontation since November last year. For me, I can devote all my efforts to train every day and no longer have to reserve. No one will let me take a break or something. This feeling is like a wolf in a cage. This is the state."

At the 2025 draft, the Grizzlies used the No. 16 draw (selected Yang Hansen) + the first round pick in 2028 + 2 second round picks, and the transaction was obtained by the Trail Blazers' No. 11 draw (selected Koward).

Koward played 6 games for the team in 2024-25, averaging 33.0 minutes per game, scoring 17.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.7 blocks, shooting percentage of 55.7%, three-point shooting percentage of 40.0%, and free throw shooting percentage of 83.9%.
