Former Warriors GM Bob Myers resigns as ESPN analyst to become president of sports company

Hupu, October 17 According to ESPN reporter Adam Schefter, former Warriors general manager Bob Myers will resign as a basketball analyst at ESPN and he will become the sports president of Harris-Blitzer Sports and Entertainment.

Schefter said that this allows Miles to get involved in many top leagues around the world. Miles will now work full-time, focusing on maximizing investment business opportunities and optimizing processes for a number of projects including the National Hockey League's New Jersey Devils, the National Basketball League's Philadelphia 76ers, the Premier League's Crystal Palace Football Club and the investment in NASCAR Joe Gibbs Racing.

In addition, Myers will continue to assist Josh Harris, managing partner of the NFL's Washington Command team.

In February 2014, Miles became the general manager of the Warriors. In September 2016, he also served as the team's president of operations. In the 2014-15 & 2016-17 seasons, Myers won the NBA General Manager of the Year award twice.

In May 2023, Miles resigned as President of Operations and General Manager of the Warriors.
