September 14th News Recently, Doncic's business manager Lara BethSeager accepted an exclusive interview with TomFriend, a reporter from SportsBusinessJournal.
When asked about his running-in process with Doncic, Siegel said: "If you don't know someone, you can't manage his career. I spent a year and a half watching Luca before I really started to build his brand. He comes from the Real Madrid system and cannot be interviewed before he was 18 years old. He is very private. I have to understand what he likes, doesn't like, his leisure and hobbies and dreams."
When asked how Doncic deals with it after being traded to the Lakers, Siegel said: "Luca is very strong and resilient. He left his hometown Slovenia at the age of 13 to play basketball in Spain, and he doesn't understand Spanish at all. This kid is a survivor and fighter, and I know he will be fine."
