Shams revealed that George has completed left knee surgery!
Philadelphia 76ers star Paul George underwent left knee arthroscopy on Monday to treat injuries suffered in recent training, and the team made the announcement.
George will now begin the rehabilitation program and will be re-evaluated before the start of the training camp.
The surgery was performed by Dr. Jonathan L. Grazhao of the Langone Sports Medicine Orthopedic Center of New York University.
George is 35 years old and has suffered various injuries in recent years. He only played 41 games last season due to groin, fingers and knee injuries. This is his fifth season in six years, with fewer than 60 games. George's season ended in March after receiving injections for left adductor and left knee injuries, before that, he averaged just 16.2 points per game — his lowest average in a decade, down more than five percentage points.
As a nine-time All-Star player, George is entering his second season of a four-year, $212 million contract signed with Philadelphia last summer. It's really a super poison contract
will not pass as a Clippers fan, I have to thank Morey for snatching Paul George
