The "controversial driver" behind the Isaac strike: he was investigated by FIFA and helped Chelsea poach

Football

Alexander Isaac's agent has been involved in European football controversial events many times since the early 2000s, and now Newcastle has become his latest "battlefield". This summer, Vladivo Lemic once again proved that he was never afraid to stir up the situation. The Alexander Isaac agent sparked one of the biggest transfer controversies in recent years ahead of the new Premier League season.

The Newcastle striker has scored 62 goals 109 times for the team, but now he refuses to play for the team again, trying to force the transfer to Liverpool before the transfer window is closed. His decision (especially the timing) was a surprise.

But things became clearer when the eyes were set on Lemitch, one of the representatives who advised him over the past few weeks. The football brokerage circle is already full of political games and sow discord, and these are the "special skills" that the 59-year-old Serbian has mastered in 25 years.

He began his career as helping his motherland players enter the Dutch League, and now he has become one of the world's top brokerage agencies with the "Global 22" agency (which includes stars such as Amy Martinez and Luca Modric). Lemitch was first criticized when he worked for Eindhoven in the 2000s. He was accused of financial misconduct and, although unproven, was still banned from entering the club's training base.

Four years later in 2012, FIFA investigated his role in the case of Croatian midfielder Milan Badli's transfer from Dynamo Zagreb to Hamburg. FIFA contacted all parties involved on allegations that Lemic profited from it by raising transfer fees.

However, the investigation ended in February 2013, and the official said: "After investigating the FIFA transfer management system, Vladivo Lemic has no substantial participation in the transfer."

At the same time, Lemic's position in football has steadily improved. He has facilitated Eindhoven's collaboration with Chelsea - a Dutch team signed by Chelsea on loan until they received a UK work permit. Later, he had more and more intersections with Roman Abramovich.

It is said that there are his push behind it when Branislav Ivanovic in 2008 and Nemania Matic transfer to Chelsea in 2009. His exponential expansion of his connections in Europe, including Real Madrid, which, with his assistance, added a 387 million pound termination clause to his contract when Modric joined from Tottenham in 2012.

In recent years, Lemich has facilitated several deals for Ajax, but it is said that Ajax followed Eindhoven and banned him. Swedish AIK Club also allegedly cut ties with his agency. "Global 22" has not responded to this yet.

The key is that Lemic is not a formal licensed player agent, but rather regards himself as a "advisor". He works closely with his FIFA-certified younger brother Zoran and Sven Mislintat, and usually through them to communicate with the club.

For example, most of Isaac's negotiations with Newcastle were handled by Gonzalo Gaitan. But obviously, Lemitch can always achieve goals in various ways and make money through consulting services.

Nowadays, this method is used to the extreme in Isaac - he threatens a "permanent strike", but Newcastle has no obligation to sell him this summer, especially the team's search for a replacement striker has repeatedly hit a wall. Whether Lemicci's strategy can work and whether Liverpool will raise its offer based on £110 million remains to be seen.
