Shevchenko: Mourinho resonates with every player, we are like his soldiers

June 8: Chelsea former player Shevchenko talked about his experience working with Mourinho in an interview with "442". He highly recognized Mourinho's management of the team.

Sheva said: "Everyone at that Chelsea team is full of desire for victory, players like Lampard, Cech, Terry and Robben are at the top of their careers, and experienced players like Marklele, Barack and me. We are a strong team, and although there will be some ups and downs at the beginning of the season, I like the competitive atmosphere in the locker room, and everyone motivates each other and pursues success together.

My most special moment at Chelsea was winning the FA Cup at the New Wembley Stadium in 2007, because this trophy means a lot to the British. In the two seasons I played for, we were very close to winning the Premier League, but we both ended up losing to Manchester United by a slight gap."

In the summer of 2006, Shevchenko left AC Milan to transfer to Chelsea for 43.88 million euros. Sheva played for the Blues for two seasons, making 77 appearances to score 22 goals and 12 assists.
