Serie A transfer: Inter Milan introduces Sucic and Enrique, Parma signs Argentina midfielder with 8.5 million
Inter Milan Club officially announced on June 4 that it would buy Croatian midfielder Petal Sucic from Dynamo Zagreb. Several sources reported that Sucic's transfer fee was 14 million euros, plus a surcharge of 2.5 million euros.
In January this year, the 21-year-old midfielder had undergone a physical examination with the Nerazzurri. Inter has now confirmed his joining, which means the Croatians will be able to participate in the club World Cup that will begin this month.
Sucic has made 32 appearances in various competitions this season, contributing 7 goals and 4 assists. Sucic was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina on October 25, 2003. His parents are Croatian. He initially played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina youth team, but since last year, he chose to represent the Croatian national team and has played 8 times so far and has scored a goal.
Neons and Blacks praised on their official website that Sucic is a talented midfielder with outstanding vision, skills and versatility, and capable of multiple roles in the midfield. He is the eighth Croatian in history to play for Inter Milan after Kovacic and Brozovic.
Sucic signed a five-year contract with Inter Milan until the summer of 2030. "So, Petal Sucic's Inter Milan journey has just begun. This is a new chapter in the story of dreams coming true, a chapter that has yet to be written." On June 7, local time, Inter Milan officially announced that it had signed 23-year-old Brazilian winger Luis Enrique from the French Ligue 1 team Marseille. This is the second signing completed by the Nerazzurri this summer after Croatian midfielder Sucic.
The authoritative German transfer market website confirmed that Louis Enrique's transfer fee is 23 million euros, plus a bonus and surcharge of 2 million yuan. The former Bottafogo wing player will join the Nerazzurri in time to participate in the FIFA Club World Cup, which will open on June 14.
Louis Enrique is a versatile winger who can play multiple roles on the right and left wing, whether it is a winger or a fullback. He was born on December 14, 2001 in Joao Pessoa, Brazil, and is 1.81 meters tall. He played well in Botafogo in 2019. He transferred to Marseille for 8 million euros in June 2020. He was only 18 years old at the time.
Luis Enrique played for Marseille for two seasons, scored a goal 49 times, and also participated in the Champions League for the first time in 2020. In July 2022, he returned to Bottafogo on loan, scored two goals in 69 appearances, and returned to Marseille at the end of 2023. He made 24 appearances in the second half of the 2023/24 season, scoring his first goal in Ligue 1 against Claremont.
The 2024/25 season is Luis Enrique's real "revenge" season. The Brazilian has become a regular starter under coach Dezelby. The Brazilian has played 35 games between the league and the French Cup, scored 9 goals and sent 10 assists, helping Marseille rank second in the Ligue 1 and return to the Champions League next season.
Inter Milan praised on its official website: "He is one of the fastest players in the Ligue 1. His highest sprint speed last season was 36.98 km/h. He is a skilled and fast winger and has become the 36th Brazilian player in Inter Milan's history. This is a brand new adventure for Enrique and he will move forward at the fastest speed."
Serie A Parma Club officially announced on June 7 local time that it had signed 20-year-old midfielder Christian Odonjez from the Sasfield Club in Argentina, with a transfer fee of 8.5 million euros.
The young Argentine midfielder arrived in Italy this week for a medical examination and has now officially signed a five-year contract with Parma.
"I'm so happy to be here," Odonès told Palma. "It's great to be here where so many important Argentine players have made history. I've been very comfortable since I came here and I'm glad I chose Parma."
Odonèz made the decision as early as January's transfer window, but the deal with Salsfield depends on whether Parma can ensure a successful relegation in Serie A. They achieved this in the final round of the season, so they can start planning for the next season.
However, their coach Zivo will not stay, and the Romanian coach has agreed to transfer to Inter Milan to coach.
Odonès only turned 21 next month. He was born in Moreno and was 1.77 meters tall. He is a player trained by Argentina's powerful team Saasfield's own youth training. He entered the first team in 2023 and has made 91 appearances so far, contributing 1 goal and 6 assists.
