On August 30, Como officially announced that the club signed Croatian U21 national goalkeeper Nikola Cavlina on loan, and the agreement includes a buyout option.

Born in 2002, Cavlina was born in the youth training system of Dynamo Zagreb and signed its first professional contract with the club in 2020. After accumulating experience with Dynamo Zagreb's second team, he played for Locomotive Zagreb for two seasons, making more than 65 appearances in the Croatian top league.

Last season, he played nine games for the club, including four European League events, and returned to Dynamo in January this year. In the international arena, he has successively represented the youth teams at all levels of Croatia U15 to U21.

Como head coach Fabregas commented: "Cavlina is a young goalkeeper with international competition experience. She has excellent goalkeeping skills and offensive skills. I look forward to working with him."

Cavlina said after signing the contract: "I am very happy to come to Como. Many people, including Baturina, are praising the club and development plan. I can't wait to meet my teammates and fight for wearing this battle suit."
