Suns become the biggest beneficiary of the 7-party trading: 5 players + 2 rounds, rebuilding around Booker Greenmaway

Basketball

On July 4, details of the 7-party deal between the Rockets, Suns, Lakers, Warriors, Nets, Hawks and Timberwolves were suspected to be exposed. The deal will not be officially reached on July 7 because Jaylen Green's contract has a "poison pill clause". The details of

are enough to prove that the Suns are the biggest winner, because this deal is equivalent to getting 5 players + 2 second round picks for the Suns: No. 10 Maruac (from the Rockets), No. 31 Fleming (from the Timberwolves), No. 41 Kobe Breya (from the Warriors), 2026 second round picks (from the Rockets), 2032 second round picks (from the Rockets); Jaylen Green, Dillon Brooks.

The Suns also used the No. 29 pick + strict protection in 2029 to exchange for Mark Williams. After this 7-party deal was reached, the Suns' lineup was completely different.

The current lineup of the Suns is: Jaylen Green, Bill, Booker, Allen, Brea, Dillon, Dunn, Martin, O'Neal, Fleming, Marway, Maruach, Richards, Iguodaro, and Hayes Davis. (Note that Maruac, Fleming and Breya have not officially signed a contract)

Currently, the Suns are discussing a buyout with Bill. Bill has a salary of 110.8 million. It is reported that if Bill wants to restore his freedom, he needs to give up a small amount of salary. Bill's team and Suns management are mediating. Once Bill is bought out, the Suns may continue to operate.

The Suns in the new season will definitely be rebuilt around Jaylen Green, Devin Booker, Mark Williams, Maruac and others. Although the Suns' lineup does not seem to be strong, at least they have some hope.
