Interestingly, Stephen A. Smith predicts that Kevin Durant and Giannis Antetokounmpo will join the same NBA team

In addition to the Oklahoma City Thunder and Indiana Pacers still focus on competing for the championship this season, other teams in the league are also focusing on improving their roster next year. Some players who may be traded include Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo and Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant.

The Greek monster has just averaged more than 30 points per game for the third consecutive season, and has contributed 11.9 rebounds and a career-high 6.5 assists.

Although the two-time MVP winner has made a huge contribution to the team, there are speculation that he hopes to leave the Milwaukee Bucks as the team continues to perform poorly in the playoffs. The Bucks have failed to break through the first round in the last three playoffs.

The Phoenix Suns power forward made 62 appearances in the offseason, averaging 26.6 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game.

The Suns actively traded Durant without his consent before this year's trading deadline and ultimately failed to reach a deal. They were eliminated from the playoffs before the end of the regular season.

Kevin Durant

On Monday morning's ESPN "First Take" show, Stephen A. Smith revealed five major trading destinations for Antetokounmpo and Durant.

He ranked the New York Knicks as the top choice for the two forwards, suggesting that the two may soon join forces at Madison Square Garden.

Here is Smith's comment on Antetokounmpo:

"New York Knicks. Market. Mecca. Madison Square Garden. Center stage," said Smith, the hardcore Knicks fan. "Jeren Brunson stays on the team. If you can, leave Anunobi. You can let Bridges go. Oh my God, for him (Antetokounmpo), you even have to lose Carl Anthony Towns. That's right, that's right."

Then Smith continued to discuss Durant:

"Speaking of him now (Durant), maybe because he's 30 and almost 36 years old. Do you understand what I mean?" Smith added. "I don't know, but I'm pretty sure. Anyway, KD, damn it, you should be in New York from the beginning! You shouldn't go to Brooklyn at all."

Although the Knicks made the Western Conference Finals for the first time in 25 years, the team seemed to be clearly in a "win-in-the-moment" mode after five years of coach Tom Thibodeau was dismissed.

Currently, New York is still looking for a head coach and is analyzing multiple candidates.
