On July 7, in the NBA Summer United California Classic, the Lakers beat the Heat 103-83 20 points. Brownie played in 11 minutes and scored 10 points, 2 rebounds and 1 steal. However, Kneckett's performance was still poor. He made 5 of 20 shots in two games and 0 of 9 three-pointers and 9 of 3-pointers. He practiced three times a day in the offseason but lost on the Summer United field.

What happened to Kneckett? In the first match of the 25th summer, the Lakers lost the Warriors. Kneckett played for 29 minutes, made 3 of 13 shots, 0 of 6 of 3 points and even made three shots, scored 10 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 block, with a plus-minus value of -13 on the court; in the second match, the Lakers beat the Heat back-to-back, but Kneckett still performed poorly, starting for 21 minutes, 2 of 7 shots, 0 of 3 points, and 3 of 3 points, and only scored 4 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 4 mistakes.

In the first two summer league games, Knector averaged 7 points per game, made 5 of 20 shots, 0 of 9 three-pointers and made 5 mistakes, with a shooting percentage of 25%, and failed to score in three-pointers. As a sophomore, Knector's performance in Summer United was too poor; on the other hand, Sweed scored 24 points in the first game and 6 of 8 three-pointers, contributing 20 points in the second game.

Previously, Kneckett revealed that he insisted on practicing three times every day during the offseason, but in the summer league, he played badly in two consecutive games, with a cold offense and a poor defense.

Last season, Kneckett performed 37 points and 32 points in a single game in the regular season. He played 78 games for the Lakers in his rookie season (16 starts), averaging 9.1 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. I hope he will get back his form as soon as possible.

According to the schedule, the Lakers will play against the Spurs in the next game on July 9. Can Kennett rebound? Let's wait and see.
