37-year-old Jeremy Lin announced his retirement! Farewell to 15 years of career: This is still the hardest decision I have ever made in my life
As professional athletes, we have always known that "retirement" is not far away. I clearly knew that one day I would need to leave, but now it is really time to say goodbye to basketball, which is still the hardest decision I have ever made in my life.
Being able to compete with the strongest opponents under the dazzling lights and challenge the world's inherent impression of people with body shape conditions like me is the greatest honor of my life. I realized my crazy dream that I thought was impossible to accomplish when I was a child: to play in front of fans all over the world. I will still be the childish childlike child, and feel full of vitality and joy as long as I can touch basketball.
Along the way, there have been so many people who sacrificed their dedication because of me that I could not repay them. Thank you all for your trust in me, who have been with me all the way, celebrated the highlights with me, and stood up with me when I was in the trough. It was a journey that I really didn't want to end, but I knew it was time. I will always miss every moment of playing in front of you, the memories between us have far exceeded the basketball itself, but it is time for us to move forward together. Let’s look forward together for everything in the future.
Love each of you sincerely, public information shows that Jeremy Shu-HowLin, born on August 23, 1988 in Palo Alto, California, USA, is an American professional basketball player, plays as a point guard, and graduated from Harvard University. He made his debut in the NBA League in 2010 and won the NBA championship for the Toronto Raptors in 2019.
