On May 21, the reporter learned from the press conference of the 2025CFA China Team "Xingtai Cup" Hohhot International Football Championship that the event will be held at the Main Stadium of the National Northern Football Training Base in Hohhot from May 28 to June 1.

A total of 4 teams participated in this competition, namely China's U-16 national men's football team, Australia's U-16 national men's football team, Vietnam's U-16 national men's football team, and Saudi Arabia's U-16 national men's football team. The four teams will compete fiercely on 6 matches on May 28, May 30 and June 1. The Chinese team will face Saudi Arabia, Vietnam and Australia in three night games.

The Chinese U-16 national men's football team participating in this competition is based on a young player born in 2009, and is coached by Japanese coach Toshihiroshima. In the French Montague Cup that ended not long ago, the Chinese young players performed well and entered the semi-finals, creating the best record of the Chinese team participating in the Montague Cup. This event will be the first time that the Chinese U-16 men's football team will debut at home in China, and will also train the team and prepare for the 2026 AFC U17 Asian Cup qualifiers to be held in the second half of this year.

2025CFA China Team Hohhot International Football Championship is an international B-level event and is the highest-level 11-a-side football event hosted by Inner Mongolia in recent years.
