Sky Sports: Liverpool is open to letting Chimikas go Atletico Madrid is interested in Robertson
Sky Sports follows up on June 15th. Atletico Madrid has interest in Liverpool defender Robertson.
Liverpool are planning to sign Bournemouth left-back Kolkerz, and the Reds hope the Hungarian international will be the choice of coach Slott along with Robertson, but he is now the target of Atletico Madrid as Robertson's current contract is in its final year.
When talking about personal future last week, Robertson said: "I had a pleasant discussion with the club, but what the future will be, I'm not sure. I can't see too far, I've never done that, and I won't start now. I know my situation, the contract is only one year left, a lot of things are discussed, and a lot of arguments come up. But I'm purely focused on being a good dad in the next few weeks, enjoying time with the kids, and then I'll try to return to the preseason at the best of the season and see what the future will be."
Liverpool currently has another left-back, Zimikas, who are open to the offer of the Greek international.
