RMC: Dembélé’s team clearly requested a salary increase after winning the Ballon d’Or. Paris is currently very tough.

Hupu reported on October 15th that the French radio station Monte Carlo updated the Dembele incident.

After L'Equipe, sources obtained by RMC revealed that Dembele and his agent team (and family) have asked the club to "significantly increase" his salary.

It is unclear what position PSG will take in renegotiating the terms of his contract, which currently runs until 2028.

A few weeks ago, before the 2025 Golden Globe winner was announced, Luis Campos was a guest on RMC's Roten show, and he was very firm about it at the time.

The capital club's sporting adviser has assured that PSG's new wage policy "applies to everyone", even Ousmane Dembélé, should he eventually win the honour.

"The stability of the club does not change just because one player wants to be different, PSG's interests come first. We always want to play well and win games.

With this policy, everyone understands that the coach does not prioritize players based on their form or their past. Your past does not determine whether you can become a starter for PSG. This is our policy and it works very well. You have to prove every day, every game that you are the best," he stressed.

He also insisted: "The club's policy is to build a team. The club is more important than anyone else. But at Paris Saint-Germain, this has changed. (...) Our policy is closely linked to performance, and when you deserve it, you get more.
