Cramney's mission is to find coaches that may interest Red Bull in the future. He will not only evaluate their athletic performance, but also keep an eye on the coaches’ press conferences.

Red Bull also hopes to build a network of personal connections to prepare for future RB Leipzig or other clubs when they need coaching. Ole Werner, 37, has coached the Bundesliga club since the season, but the summer search for coach has been delayed for weeks.

In the future, Red Bull may "attract" potential coaches by internships or working on the youth team.

This will be Kramney's future work. He has been coaching since 2006 and has coached Stuttgart temporarily in the 2015-16 season, coaching 18 games. Until April this year, he coached the sixth-level Mechtersheim for a year, before he coached the Frankfurt U19 team.

Klopp and Kramney have known each other for a long time. The two were teammates and roommates when they were in Mainz. After Klopp became the head coach in 2001, Cramney played 128 games under him.

Five years later, Kramney failed to receive a contract renewal and Klopp appointed him as the head coach of Mainz U19 team. Kramney once said: "Jurgen and I have always been a tacit partner." This should also be confirmed in Red Bull in the future.
