How are you now?

Have you ever received an offer from Saudi Arabia?

There are several teams interested in me, but I want to continue competing in the top league. Then this opportunity came along and it was great for me in every way. I don't think I'll ever go back to Spain to play football again. My idea is very clear, that is to continue playing.

Titles with Real Madrid

These are very good statistics and a very good list of honors. My career at Real Madrid was outstanding. I feel recognized, I feel the love from the fans, the club and so many people, which is impressive. You’re not so keenly aware of it when you’re in it.

Do you feel that your last season at Real Madrid was redundant?

I don't think the final season is redundant. I'm sad when we don't win and things don't go as expected, but that's part of football. One thing is other people's opinions, those are not up to you.

The other thing is the fact: 400 games, 227 starts, and those championships... I watch the news every day, and some things are unnecessary. There is no player who has not been criticized: Mbappe, Cristiano Ronaldo, Benzema, Ramos, Modric... The media today are more and more inclined to criticize, reducing objectivity, and public opinion is easily influenced.
