Hupu August 31, News of the latest report by Paul Joyce, a well-known reporter from the Times, Liverpool has offered a new offer for Mark Gerch, with a quotation of 35 million pounds and includes a 10% second transfer clause, while Crystal Palace hopes to get a quotation of 40 million pounds. Negotiations between the two clubs restarted on Saturday, and Crystal Palace told Liverpool that they hope to loan Joe Gomez as compensation for Gerch's transfer fee, but the wish was disappointed.

25-year-old Gerhi has been the goal of the Premier League champion club throughout the summer. In the days after the Community Shield ended, Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes held talks with Crystal Palace president Steve Parish, who expressed his willingness to pay £35 million for the England central defender.

's second offer on Saturday included a 10% second transfer clause designed to convince Crystal Palace to let Geighe out by Monday's transfer deadline. The London club currently sticks to a fixed fee of £35 million plus an additional £5 million.

Liverpool may consider allowing Gomez to leave permanently, although they will remain somewhat reserved. AC Milan has shown interest in the defender, and his contract with Anfield is still two years away.

Meanwhile, Liverpool remain interested in Newcastle United striker Alexander Isaac, but will not offer a price of up to £130 million for the Swedish international. On August 1, a £110 million offer was rejected. Meanwhile, Cody Garkepo has signed a new long-term contract with the club.
