Newcastle official response: Isaac is never promised to be transferred, and the conditions for sale are not met

Football

On August 20, Newcastle's Swedish striker Isaac posted on social media, and the club ripped a promise and refused to let him transfer to Liverpool.

After that, Newcastle's official responded quickly, and issued a statement saying he had never promised that he could leave this summer.

Newcastle statement said:

We are disappointed with receiving the news posted on Isaac social media tonight and responded clearly: Isaac is still in the contract period and club officials have never promised that he can leave Newcastle this summer.

We want to keep the best players, but we also understand that players have their own will and will listen to their ideas. As we explained to Isaac and his agents, all decisions must take into account the best interests of Newcastle, the team and the fans, and we have made it clear that the conditions for the sale this summer have not been met and we do not expect them to be met.

Newcastle is a proud club with a glorious tradition and we strive to maintain a large family atmosphere. Isaac remains a part of our family and will be welcomed when he is ready to rejoin his teammates.
