May 14th According to talkSPORT, Moyes talked about the team's situation in an interview.

Everton coach Moyes said the club will be busy in the transfer market this summer to strengthen the lineup. In addition, they will also prepare for the upcoming relocation to the new stadium. Moyes also revealed that the group of American boss Friedkin will give strong support.

Everton will bid farewell to Goodison Park Stadium, home court used since 1892, on Sunday, and they will move to the new stadium at Bramley Moore Marina. On talkSPORT's show, former Rangers star Alley McCoyster asked Moyes if he would have a chance to strengthen the roster before moving into a new £800 million stadium, Moyes responded: "I think we'll be busy. The new owner has taken over and we're trying to adapt to them. They're Americans and we're trying to keep up with them. There's a lot to arrange, and I have a good understanding of the club's needs and fans' expectations. Moving to the new stadium means a lot to them and I believe we'll have a good support in the transfer market. While not spending big money, we should be able to make some deals." In December 2024, Fahad Mohiri sold his 94.1% stake in Everton to California businessman Dan Friedkin. The deal, worth between £400 million and £500 million, converted debt into equity, costing Mohiri a £700 million investment, according to sources. During the transaction, Friedkin agreed to provide final financing for the stadium relocation and bear the daily operating costs, including wages.

It is reported that Everton will celebrate the end of the Goodison Park era in its final game against Southampton. The club announced that the iconic stadium will become the new home for Everton women's football team. Speaking of the relocation, Moyes said: "All Everton fans have been waiting for a long time and since I first came here, they have been talking about the new stadium. Now it's finally coming."

The Scottish coach, who has coached at Manchester United, West Ham and Sunderland, is excited about former club Sunderland's victory on Tuesday night. Dan Ballard's last-minute goal in overtime helped Sunderland beat Coventry with a total score of 3-2 to advance to the final of the Championship play-off.

Speaking of the game, Moyes said: "I am happy for Sunderland because you all know that this is a great football club. I took over the trough in their history and I'm glad to see them start to get back to the top ranks. They have strong support and a huge stadium, but they're facing Sheffield United, which is undoubtedly the hottest in the finals."
