Manchester City s wingers quickly join Los Angeles FC and take the last bus to the Club World Cup

In order to prepare for the Club World Cup after the expansion of this summer, Los Angeles FC quickly introduced winger Dilrosan from the American Club of the Mexican League on loan, who will join as a designated player. The loan deal will last until July 24, 2025 and includes a permanent transfer option so that Deerrosan can represent Los Angeles FC in the Major League Soccer event in the future. He will replace the quota left by Yundale and be qualified to compete in the Club World Cup.

Dilrosan will bring rich European League experience to Los Angeles FC coach Cellendolo's team. He was born in Manchester City's youth training camp and played for Hertha Berlin in Germany, Bordeaux in France and Feyenoord in the Netherlands. He moved to the Mexican League in 2023. In his 199 club appearances, Dilrosan contributed 19 goals and 33 assists, and won two Mexican League championships with Club America, winning 5 championship trophys in his career.

Los Angeles FC Co-President and General Manager Thorington said: "Dirrosan is a player we are familiar with, and he has shown his talent in some of the world's top leagues. As we prepare for this unique challenge of the club's World Cup, we are excited to bring in players of high level like him." It is worth noting that the signing is just two weeks after Los Angeles FC beat Deirrosan 2-1 in the play-offs to compete for the last place in the 2025 Club World Cup final spot, Dirrosan played for the then American Club, who was on the bench in overtime in that game but failed to help the team recover the defeat.

Despite his defeat with the team at the time, Deerrosan will now have a second chance to compete in the event, representing Los Angeles FC with two other major league teams - the Seattle Gulfman and International Miami, to compete for the record-breaking $1 billion total prize money for the tournament, and challenge top European clubs including Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City. Los Angeles FC's first match will face Premier League powerhouse Chelsea on June 17.
