After Bayern Munich beat Tottenham Hotspur 4-0, former Tottenham Hotspur star and now playing for Bayern Harry Kane especially expressed his respect for former teammate Son Heung-min's brilliant career at Tottenham. The contest was held at Allianz Stadium on Thursday.

This game is the first time that Son Heung-min has played without the South Korean national team captain after joining Los Angeles FC with a major league record of £20 million transfer fee. Last Saturday, Son Heung-min officially announced his decision to leave the team at a pre-season friendly pre-match press conference in Seoul, and accepted the tribute from his teammates in front of home fans.

33-year-old Son Heung-min joined Tottenham in 2015 and has achieved great success in his ten years of playing for the team. He scored 173 goals and contributed 101 assists for the team, including 127 goals and 27 assists in 333 games in the Premier League. Last season, Son Heung-min led Tottenham Hotspur to defeat Manchester United in the UEFA Cup final, winning the team's first championship trophy in 17 years. After the game, Kane praised this former partner with great stinginess. He highly praised the tacit understanding established by the two during Tottenham Hotspur and called it "one of the best partners" in Premier League history.

"First of all, I want to express my warmest congratulations to him and his Tottenham career," Kane told reporters. "First of all, he is a great person. I know him very well, he is a good friend, he is very humble and has a great character."

"As a player, I think we have one of the best partner relationships in Premier League history. We have that tacit connection that we cherish." Kane added, "It was a wonderful ending for his Tottenham career. Last year he held the trophy with the team as the captain. Now it is a new chapter for him. He will go to Los Angeles, and I wish him all the best. I hope to see him again soon and we can get together."

Kane and Son Heung-min formed one of the most lethal offensive combinations in the Premier League during their side by side at Tottenham. The two assisted each other to create a Premier League record of 47 goals between 2015 and 2023. Kane himself played 435 times for the team and scored 280 goals in his nine seasons with Tottenham.
