French media reported that in the small town of Dax, southwestern France, a 17-year-old boy was stabbed in the chest and was seriously injured in the crowd that night. Although medical staff quickly arrived at the scene and sent him to the hospital for emergency treatment, unfortunately he was pronounced dead in the early morning of June 1. At present, the case is being investigated by the police and the attacker is still on the run.

On the same night, in the center of Paris, thousands of fans gathered around the Champs-Elysées and the Stadium of the Princes to watch the live broadcast and celebrate. The Paris Police Department has deployed 5,400 police officers to strengthen security. Although most of the celebrations were held peacefully, violence still occurred in individual areas. Police reported that nearly 500 people in France were temporarily detained, and a total of 9 police officers were injured.
