October 17th 38-year-old Djokovic was interviewed when he participated in the Six Kings Grand Slam exhibition match in Saudi Arabia. He said that he has no plans to retire and that LeBron James, Cristiano Ronaldo, Brady and others inspire him.

Djokovic said: "The durability of my career is one of my biggest motivations. I am eager to explore my limits."

"Looking at the global sports world, LeBron James is still in prime condition. He is 40 years old. Cristiano Ronaldo (40 years old) and Tom Brady (retiring at 45 years old) continue to play into their forties. This is really incredible. They inspire me, so I want to keep moving forward. This is one of my motivations."

"Tennis will face major changes in the next few years, and I am willing to personally participate in this transformation. When our sport is reborn and lays a new foundation for development in the next few decades, I still hope to be on the court."

Djokovic plans to participate in all four Grand Slam tournaments in 2026, and if he plays until the age of 40, it means that his career will last until at least 2027.
