Hupu, October 16th, the famous Daily Mail reporter Kieran Gil wrote an exclusive Chelsea weekly report.

Chelsea have hired a new English goalkeeper scout, Gary Woods, who was most recently player-coach at Scottish Premiership club Greenock Morton.

Woods has a degree as a sporting director, and as far as I know, the 35-year-old scout will focus on discovering players in the under-12 and under-21 age groups in his new job at Chelsea.

Chelsea currently has no plans to search for a senior goalkeeper, including reconsidering Mike Maignan.

They are happy with Roberto Sanchez and Filip Jorgensen and will decide this summer how to evaluate Mike Penders, who previously spent a season on loan at sister club Strasbourg in France.
