Bochum official: loan from Burnley Irish striker Obuffiemi until the end of this season

Hupu September 1st, the Bundesliga Bochum Club officially announced that it will introduce 25-year-old forward Michael Obafemi from Premier League promoted Burnley on a season loan, with the loan period until the end of this season.

This is the first time Obaffemy has played outside the UK in his career. Previously, he played in Southampton and Burnley in a total of 34 Premier League games, scoring 4 goals and contributing 3 assists.

This 1.70-meter-tall attacker with Nigerian descent was born in Dublin. He has played 12 games for the Irish national team, scoring 2 goals and giving 2 assists. Obaffemi has rich youth training experience, played for Chelsea, Arsenal and Watford youth training camps, and completed his first Premier League debut at Southampton at the age of 17. In addition to the Premier League, he has also played in the Championship for 106 games, scoring 21 goals and contributing 5 assists, playing for teams such as Swansea, Millwall and Plymouth.
