June 13: After Galatasaray officially announced the signing of Sane, Bayern also issued a statement confirming that Sane will represent the team in the Club World Cup until June 30.

Sane will join Turkish club Galatasaray after its contract with Bayern Munich expires on June 30. Prior to this, the 29-year-old offensive player will play for Bayern Munich until June 30 to participate in the Club World Cup. Bayern Sports Director Max Eber announced the news Thursday at a press conference at the FCB base in Orlando.

Eber said that the negotiations between Bayern and Sane have always been transparent and open: "If the player receives other offers and accepts it, it is completely normal and legal. Moreover, there is no grudge between the two sides. Both sides jointly decide that Sane will continue to represent us in the group stage of the Club World Cup and the possible round of 16, which also shows that both sides have no grudges."

Sane will meet with the team on Friday and then prepare for the group stages with the team against Auckland City FC (June 15), Boca Youth (June 21) and Benfica Lisbon (June 24).
