2025 World Cup Rock Climbing Competition China s new generation performed well

China Youth Daily Client (China Youth Daily·China Youth Network reporter Guo Jian) ​​The 2025 International Climbing Federation World Cup rock climbing competition ended in the Guiyang Station in China, which recently concluded at Guizhou Caihu International Rock Climbing Center.

The competition consists of men's and women's speed competitions, with 68 athletes from 14 countries and regions participating. Two 18-year-old Chinese players, Chu Shouhong and Meng Shixue, won the men's and women's championships respectively in this competition. Based on the results of the 6 rounds of competitions, Indonesian player Kiromar Carterbin won the men's championship of the year, American player Emma Hunter won the women's championship of the year, and Chinese player Zhou Yafei won the women's runner-up.

As the final battle of the 2025 World Cup, in order to prepare for the World Rock Climbing Championships held in late this month, 9 players ranked in the top ten men's world points in this competition, and 7 players ranked in the top ten women's world points in the competition, creating the most competitive event in recent years.
