The Pistons defeated the Pacers 122-117 on the road today, winning 13 consecutive games and tying the longest winning streak in team history. The Pistons had previously won 13 consecutive games in the 1989-90 and 2003-04 seasons, and they eventually won the championship in both seasons. The Pistons are currently ranked first in the Eastern Conference with a record of 15 wins and 2 losses. As long as they maintain it, they will indeed have the strength to win the championship.

It is worth mentioning that just two years ago, the Pistons were one of the weakest teams in the league and suffered a 28-game losing streak, tying the longest losing streak in NBA history. In the 23-24 season, the Pistons only won 14 games in total throughout the season. This season, they only played 17 games and have won 15 games, surpassing the 23-24 season. For the Pacers, 7 players on the team scored in double figures. Unfortunately, they still failed to stage a 19-point comeback and end the Pistons' winning streak. Siakam performed well, playing 34 minutes, making 7 of 12 shots, 0 of 2 three-pointers, 12 of 14 free throws, scoring 24 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks. Jareth Walker felt hot. He played 27 minutes and made 8 of 10 shots, including 5 of 6 three-pointers. He scored 21 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal. His 21 points set a new personal season high.

McConnell performed well. He came off the bench for 22 minutes, made 8 of 12 shots, 0 of 2 three-pointers, and scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Marcelin was in poor condition. He played 28 minutes and made 3 of 13 shots, 1 of 4 three-pointers, 7 of 8 free throws, 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 turnovers. Nembhard played 36 minutes and made 4 of 14 shots, including 2 of 6 three-pointers and 2 of 4 free throws. He scored 12 points, 6 assists and 4 steals.
