The first person to publicly question MVP was born, Edwards was fined $50,000, with a total of 430,000 this season
NBA today announced that Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards was fined $50,000 for "using swear words in media interviews." After Edwards lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder 88-114 in the first game of the Western Conference Finals, Edwards lamented at a post-match press conference that he "tmd, I only shot 13 goals" in this loss. The fine brought the 23-year-old's total amount of money sent by the league this season to $430,000.
Edwards' shots in the first Western Conference Finals were fewer than those of the newly promoted MVP Alexander, who made 14 free throws and Edwards made 13 shots.
Edwards' post-match interview clearly implies that SGA cannot be touched, and domestic netizens only made an interesting picture to describe the cylinders of Alexander, Butler and Curry.
