The mural "Mambas Forever" created by the late Lakers legend Kobe Bryant was recently destroyed in Southern California, which caused shock and dissatisfaction among local residents. What is touching is that Lakers star Luca Doncic took the initiative to lend a helping hand and donated $5,000 through the fundraising platform to fully fund the restoration of the mural.

The mural, created by artist Louis Palcino, is located at the junction of 14th Street and Main Street in Los Angeles, and has been damaged for the first time since its completion in 2020. Shortly after the fundraising activity started, Doncic made generous donations and quickly achieved the target amount. Later, he confirmed this kind act to the American media, "Give back to the community has always been very important to me. This community has given me a lot, and I hope it can be rewarded."

Speaking of Kobe Bryant's influence on himself, Doncic said emotionally, "Kobe is Los Angeles. He and Gigi have far-reaching significance to this city, the Lakers, and personally. I am happy to be able to express my spirit and value they represent. ”

After learning the news, artist Louis Palcino expressed his gratitude in an interview, “I am proud of Doncic becoming a member of the Lakers. He represents the spirit of Los Angeles. This move is enough to keep him in the hearts of the people of this city forever.”

According to multiple US media reports, Louis Palcino currently plans to repair the mural as soon as possible and add protective coatings to it in case of another damage to the future.

Kobe Bryant and his second daughter, Gianna Bryant, were unfortunately killed in a helicopter accident in early 2020, killing nine people, shocking the world. Since its completion, this mural has become an important symbol for many fans to commemorate the spirit of the "Black Mamba".
